Payroll Schedule & Pay Dates

This article explains when employees are paid and how payroll timing works.


Pay Frequency

We operate on a semi-monthly payroll schedule.

Employees are paid twice per month on:

The 8th and the 23rd


Weekend & Holiday Rule

If a scheduled pay date falls on a weekend or bank holiday:

➡ Payroll is issued on the next business day (typically Monday)

We do not move payroll earlier to Friday.
This keeps the spacing between paychecks consistent throughout the year.


What Determines Your Paycheck

Your paycheck includes:

  • Approved worked hours/sessions

  • Salary (if applicable)

  • Adjustments submitted before payroll cutoff

  • Benefit deductions

  • Taxes


Important Notes

  • Payroll is based on completed and approved work

  • Late documentation may be included in the next payroll

  • Direct deposit timing depends on your bank but typically posts the same day


Pay Periods vs Pay Dates

Pay periods and pay dates are different:

Pay Period → When the work is performed
Pay Date → When the money is deposited
